What
Add JacobCrabill/zigdown to File Format Processing, as the last entry of the list.
Zigdown is a Markdown toolset written in Zig. It renders Markdown to the terminal, to HTML and inside Neovim, formats Markdown files, presents a set of files as an in-terminal slide show and serves a directory of documents over HTTP. The README says it is not a CommonMark-compliant parser and never will be; the entry says so. The list already has
kivikakk/koinoanddemizer/markzig, which are Markdown parsers; zigdown is a toolset around its own parser, renderers and CLI.Maintenance: created 2023-02-23, latest release v1.3.1 on 2026-08-08, 426 commits, 139 stars, MIT licence, not archived, requires Zig 0.16.0.

AI-assisted: the commit history shows Claude was used for part of the work. Three commits carry aCo-Authored-By: Claudetrailer (2f89395 and e0f654c on 2026-04-25, Claude Sonnet 4.6, and 5b97acf on 2026-08-08, Claude Opus 5). Four commits have a[claude]prefix in the subject (ad9004f, 8f4b15f, 83f91c8, 4959bae) and one says "Claude added ConsoleRenderer unit tests for tables" (e613f91). The project README does not mention AI. The other roughly 420 commits are by the human author and have no such marks, so the project is human-led. I did not ask the author, so the extent of AI use is not known.Summary by CodeRabbit
