Describe the bug

Revert of optimistic waits for the optimistic to complete instead of reverting as soon as we have authoritative result causing extra delay.

Steps to Reproduce the Bug or Issue

1. Open repro
2. Click button
3. Observe how we see both optimistic and final result and it takes aprox 4 seconds instead of 2

Expected behavior

I expect the authoritative result arriving to cause the revert to start immediately.
