This was mostly done programmatically, and is likely wrong for a small number of functions. We may have to wait for bug reports, unless someone wants to review this by hand. Basic efforts were made to avoid adding "PHP 7" to functions that were removed in PHP 5.x (x > 0) and PHP 7, but there are undoubtedly still issues. Same approach as #11: the history is preserved rather than squashed into a single import.
git -C ../doc-en format-patch --root -o /path/to/patches -- reference/xmlrpc git am --committer-date-is-author-date /path/to/patches/*.patch58 commits, from the initial import to the latest change in doc-en. The resulting
reference/xmlrpctree has the same hash as the one on doc-en master, so nothing is altered along the way.The book is not referenced from
manual.xmlyet, so it does not enter the build until that line is added.
