@giantswarm/team-shield I did not yet tried it, have you? should kgs login work with that? or it still need athena?

Structured auth was added without shield's involvement, really. We haven't tried it yet. As for athena, I assume we'd still need it for our own dex and I think it also delivers certs for the k8s API, aside from anything it might be doing for happa or backstage. But in theory I think you're right, once we're fully on structured authn we wouldn't need athena for finding dex at least
