With span streaming enabled (the default),
gen_ai.invoke_agentnames follow the agent span name conventions:{operation} {agent}when an agent name is known, otherwise{operation}.LangChain chain names (
chain format_prompt) and Vercel AIfunctionIdsuffixes are high-cardinality identifiers, so they are omitted from streamed names and remain onlangchain.chain.nameandgen_ai.function.id. LangGraph already emitted{operation} {agent}and is unchanged. StatictraceLifecyclekeeps the previous names.Fixes #23524
