Mouse gestures on macOS 15 can time out when HammerWindow reports itself as key only through the public getter. Keep AppKit's internal key-state query consistent so single and double clicks reach recognizers without activating the application or changing its key window.
Add regression coverage for nested views that reject first mouse, verify focus remains unchanged, and make the existing non-key panel fixture's first-mouse policy explicit. Run the AppKit suite on macOS 15 and macOS 26 in CI alongside the existing iPhone and iPad jobs.
Validation: all 18 AppKit tests pass on both macOS versions. SwiftUI and OpenSwiftUI single- and double-tap integration tests also pass on both. Strict SwiftLint and actionlint pass.
