Hi, I'm Andrey Tabakov 👋

Head of Engineering at Lookstream · Software Architect · Former CTO of Tabula.io

I’m Head of Engineering at Lookstream, where I lead the development of a large-scale, multi-domain software platform. I work across system architecture, engineering strategy, service boundaries, infrastructure, and hands-on implementation.

Previously, as CTO of Tabula.io, I led the development of an AI-powered no-code data pipeline platform. I owned the architecture while contributing directly to the codebase, focusing on execution, scalability, performance, and reliability.

I’ve designed and built distributed, data-intensive, and high-load systems across AI platforms, business intelligence, and clinical decision support. My work spans service architecture, data-processing runtimes, API and event contracts, security, observability, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and failure recovery.

I’m most effective where technical complexity, correctness, and resilience matter. I enjoy turning difficult, ambiguous problems into systems that teams can understand, operate, and evolve.
