Description of `log_metrics` and `log_events` should mention that timestamps are in UTC

I am wondering if perhaps the log_event method is too "loose" constraint wise as it trusts the user to provide the timestamp in the form expected by the server, perhaps this method should instead take a datetime object?

You could use:

from dateutil import parser

dt = parser.parse("2025-10-07")
print(dt)

to "smartly" detect the format but this will affect performance.

Simplest solution is to attach a validator to the input, I will do that
