[Request] Image for Scryer

I am the core maintainer for Scryer, a replacement for the Arr stack. Scryer is a self-hosted, open source software that combines Sonarr, Radarr, Seerr, Bazarr, Prowlarr & more into a single, high-performance Rust binary. The first-party image follows the framing of LSIO images for PUID/PGID/TZ/etc.

Scryer has over 700 registered installs in the last 30 days and over 65k GHCR lifetime pulls.

Thanks for the request, I would say if you already have a container that follows those guidelines, there wouldn't be any benefit we could add into building this into a container. It would just be a duplication of the work you've already done.

the value add is definitely discoverability and trust. There are other tools within the lsio catalog that also publish first party images. I'd be ok to retire my first-party images in favor of linuxserver.io images.

For all my other self-hosted tools, i look to lsio first as i trust this team to pick the right software for the catalog.

If one of the team starts using this, then that individual can determine if they want to make a container for it. however, we do not consider discoverability or trust as reasons for us to do so, it is usually because we either think we can do it vastly better or to alleviate some huge security issue. That said, if none of us decide to try out scryer, there's a 0% chance we'll make a container for it. The support burden for us is too high when we aren't actively invested in the project. Therefore, at this time, this is a pass from us.
