OpenSCAD: feature request "rail for stem"

Could you please provide a rail for a stem? Should be quite similar to the rail for the handlebar, only the tube is rotated by 90 degree - and of course some other changes needed if you rotate the tube by 90 degree. Tried to do this on my own, but I gave up after an hour. Too less experience with OpenSCAD ...
