Contribution doesn't work with SimpleVocab plugin

I want to use the Contribution SimpleVocab plugin Contribution but it doesn't work.
However, on this page,
http://omeka.org/codex/Plugins/Contribution
it says the opposite but probably with an older version of Contribution?
