make install: ../build-aux/py-compile: Missing argument to --destdir

make install reports:
../build-aux/py-compile: Missing argument to --destdir.

But all features are still usable.

This relates to the unnecessary (and in this particular case wrongful) autogenerated file.
I had exactly the same issue and got fixed by removing and recreating build-aux/ direcory
