Steps to reproduce the bug

we have our git server, from which vscode and GitHub desktop could clone repositories, but dev home says no repo.
it is accessible via vpn, the vpn is up and running

Expected result

should clone the selected repo from the url

Actual result

indicates error for the repo
(http://192.168.22.2:3000/_user_/_any.repo_.git)
