noscript status has formatting problems

Dad (Congratulations).

When I poke the white circle with an "S" in it to see what's noscript thinks about the "current" website, I get a popup(?) with sites listed. Sometimes items are only 1/2 displayed. See enclosed jpg for an example.

I suspect that it's my font size config that is causing this. I have made all the font sizes larger than "normal".

Need more info or need/want me to test something... You have only to ask.

I typically use Edit -> settings -> fonts but for FF Released, I have used "about:config".

I have 3 bug reports at bugzilla.mozilla.org relating to the inability to login;

All are about various forms of the inability to login. I can login to "usbank.com" and "xfinity.com" and "pge.com" via Chrome but it seems to be unpredictable. Sometimes the same behavior as with FF Released and (randomly) with FF (nightly).

This last question gets complicated.

I just switched (a day or so ago) from a "normal" released (latest) version of FF to FF Nightly.

For "usbank.com", the support guy found what appears to be a mishandling of "minimum font". I had also used "Edit -> settings -> fonts" BUT, I had also used "about:config" AND a few extensions (is this the right word for these) AND/OR plugins. After switching to FF Nightly, I have NOT changed any of the font settings. I did NOT start FF Nightly with a clean profile. In an attempt to fix the inability to login to "usbank.com", "xfinity.com", and recently, "pge.com". All are or were "broken" in that attempts at logging in have failed. I have opened usbank and xfinity with the released version of FF but pge.com tries to do a "special?" verify step. They ask me to verify and "how do I want to receive their request". Since I ONLY have a landline here, I chose the email option. Email was working for "usbank.com" and "xfinity.com" but "pge.com" was failing to even send an email. For them, NOTHING appeared in my inbox or spam folders at "grgoffe@yahoo.com". I don't know what's happening here. I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone.

As far as I can tell, all my other websites appear to be behaving as they have been for SEVERAL YEARS.

At first, FF Nightly appeared to have resolved the "usbank.com" and "xfinity.com" problems but started failing again. "pge.com" went right to the email not being sent problem.

I tried to show only modified entries in "about:config" but that appears to be broken.

I currently have 8 plugins enabled:

count tabs
infy scroll

new tab tools
noscript

tab count icon
tab manager plus

tab session manager
video download helper

I just printed the add-ons with ctrl-p... and am sending you the file. I'm wondering what else can be printed... maybe "about:config"?

Do you need other info? How can I get them dumped/printed?

I have installed (I think) the dev version available. It looks like .907. I see this number at the top of the menu that appears when poking the "circle S" icon and then selecting "Options". Am I on the right track so far?

When I configure noscript for a specific site, I almost always make google.com as "default". ONLY if the site breaks will I "temp authorize" them. I don't trust google. I went to noscript options from the "circle S" icon and looked for google.com. They were NOT listed. I added them and made them "Default". Is there a "save" process to save this modification? I have done this once already but they do not seem to be in the "new" list. Is this a bug?

The formatting problem seems to still be with us.

Any hints/tips/suggestions/clues would be GREATLY appreciated.

When I configure noscript for a specific site, I almost always make google.com as "default". ONLY if the site breaks will I "temp authorize" them. I don't trust google. I went to noscript options from the "circle S" icon and looked for google.com. They were NOT listed. I added them and made them "Default". Is there a "save" process to save this modification? I have done this once already but they do not seem to be in the "new" list. Is this a bug?

Nope, no bug.

DEFAULT is the default preset assigned to all the "unknown" websites, therefore it's always ephemeral in the UI: as soon as you assign it, NoScript just forgets about the site and next time you visit the "Per-site Permissions" tab you won't find it anymore.

Any change in the permissions is stored immediately, and applied on next reload of the page (which happens automatically by default if you're using the contextual popup).

The formatting problem seems to still be with us.

Just to be clear, looking at your first screenshot: the problem is "just" that the second line is not entirely shown (bleeds outside the popup), not the black rectangle in the middle which I hope is just a screenshot artifact. Is it?

BTW, is the sites list scrollable if you focus on it (possibly using your mouswheel) or are you stuck with the half line on the bottom?

Giorgio, I'm using an older FF at this moment. The fonts are not "adjusted" like those of the Nightly and released I was using. I'm thinking that it IS the font sizes that are causing the "bleeding".  The black square... I don't know the answer. I don't see it when looking at the "list" in real time... It just might be an artifact as you suggest. I'll keep my eyes on this if it re-appears. This version of FF that I'm using doesn't seem to exhibit the "bleeding" effect. Hmmmmm... It is version: 148.0 (64-bit) and noscript is 13.6.6. I'll add the dev version and check things out. Best regards, George...
