Disable automatically connecting to VS Code #1516

Describe the feature or problem you'd like to solve
Copilot CLI now automatically connects to VS Code and pulls in configuration (e.g. MCP servers) without any way to opt out of it. Manually disconnecting the VS Code workspace after starting copilot does not remove MCP servers configured in VS Code.
Proposed solution
Give us the option to disable automatic IDE connections.
