I am on windows 10 prox64 and will try Ubuntu.

Moving the FBReader-Android-2 folder to the root folder in C:\ did not help!

Tried Ubuntu 14 and the project folder in the root Path but did work. Gave the same error:
Unfortunately you can't have non-Gradle Java modules and Android-Gradle modules in one project.
