Hi Base team,
I am an independent builder working on a Base-native AI agent project.
Project:
Launch Desk Base Agent v2
Live demo:
https://launch-desk-base-agent.onrender.com
GitHub:
https://github.com/lovekry19950411-wu/launch-desk-base-agent
Base mainnet contract:
https://basescan.org/address/0xd6Cfc034ee69eb58c1cBD6A15660c95a49804F65
Builder Code:
bc_9jnnvjew
I have been building and shipping around Base for about a month, including:
- public proof APIs
- OpenAPI spec
- Base Sepolia x402 paid API testing
- Base mainnet workflow receipt contract
- public demo page for reviewers
However, as a small solo builder, I still find the funding path confusing.
The docs say Builder Rewards are weekly and suitable for experiments and prototypes, but it is not clear:
- What exactly counts as eligible activity?
- Does a builder need Talent Protocol, Basename, Builder Score, Human Checkmark, GitHub, X, Farcaster, and Base.dev registration all connected?
- Is shipping a Base mainnet contract enough, or does the project also need real user transactions?
- How can a solo builder know whether their project is being discovered or considered?
- What is the difference between Builder Rewards and Builder Grants from the builder’s point of view?
- Is there a recommended checklist before applying or expecting discovery?
I am not asking for funding through this issue.
This is documentation feedback: the current page encourages builders to ship first, but it does not clearly explain how shipped work becomes visible to the reward or grant process.
A clearer checklist would help small builders avoid wasting time and understand what is actually required.
Suggested improvement:
Add a “Before you expect rewards” checklist that explains:
- required profiles and identity links
- required app registration steps
- minimum onchain activity expectations
- whether GitHub / Farcaster / X activity is considered
- how Builder Codes affect attribution
- how Builder Rewards differ from Builder Grants
- what builders should do if they have shipped but received no feedback
Thanks.
我不是在這裡直接要錢。
我是用「文件不清楚」的角度,逼他們說清楚:
到底要 Talent、Basename、Builder Score、Human Checkmark、Base.dev、X、Farcaster、GitHub 哪些東西才會被看見。
