(Source Code Management Project - GDG Event Site)
This site serves as the central repository for information regarding events organized by the Google Developer Group (GDG) chapter at Amity University Bengaluru. π
The primary objective is to provide students with a unified platform to review past events and anticipate future activities. This project also demonstrates practical application of Source Code Management principles. π»
This initial version (Minimum Viable Product - MVP) incorporates the following functionalities:
- π Upcoming Events: View details for scheduled future events.
- βͺ Past Event Archive: Browse through information concerning previously held sessions and workshops.
- βΉοΈ Detailed Event Information: Access comprehensive details for each event, including date, time β°, venue π, and a summary of the content or focus.
- πΈ Event Gallery: View photographs from past events where available.
- π Registration Links: Provides direct links for event registration when applicable.
- π Search/Filter Capability: (Planned for a future version) Enables users to easily locate specific events.
The project utilizes fundamental web technologies:
- HTML5: Provides the structural foundation.
- CSS3: Manages the visual presentation and styling.
The implementation relies solely on standard HTML and CSS.
To run this project locally, follow these steps:
- Obtain the Code: Download the project files, typically provided as a ZIP archive. π
- Extract Files: Uncompress the downloaded archive to access the project directory.
- Launch: Open the
index.htmlfile in your preferred web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari). π
Upon successful execution, the GDG Event Site should be displayed in your browser. π
